A wooden gift that will thrill both the giver and the receiver. ``Tray WAVE'' is a place to display special items.
We created unique gift products together with Nobu Iga, an artist based in Hokkaido. This is a series of wooden products that look like art pieces carved using Cosine's woodworking techniques and Shin Iga's artistic sense.
A tray with a simple geometric shape.
Tray WAVE has a characteristic and beautiful wood grain that is created by carving it into a wave shape.
This is an item that will be useful on your desktop or shelf where you want to display special items.
Although they are abstract shapes, they each have functions that are useful in daily life, and their warm texture and mysterious geometric shapes add color to your life.
By intricately carving the wood, you can enjoy the appearance and texture of the wood in a slightly different way, giving it a sense of playfulness that goes beyond its functional beauty. A gift that will thrill both the giver and the receiver.
There are 3 types of shapes
Artist Shin Iga
Using thin wood as the main material, he creates geometric works in which parts are piled up on carefully constructed blueprints. Although these architectural structures have abstract shapes, they sometimes look like urban dioramas, or like crystals of the microscopic world. In recent years, he has also expanded into larger-scale artworks, such as installations that span the entire exhibition space. He continues to take on new challenges of expression. Director of "Geometric Abstract Art Laboratory = GAAL".
[Precautions for use]
Do not handle it roughly. Safety may be reduced. Do not place excessively heavy objects on it that may cause damage. It is dangerous, so please do not use it for any purpose other than its intended purpose.
This oil is based on natural vegetable oils and maintains the texture of the wood. Maintenance can be easily done by applying multiple coats of oil. Do not hang wet items directly on the product as this may cause stains. If moisture gets on it, wipe it off immediately. You can wipe it with a damp cloth if you have wrung it out well.
This coating forms a film on the wood surface, making it difficult for scratches and dirt to stick to it. For normal maintenance, simply removing dust with a dry cloth is sufficient. If the dirt is heavy, remove the dirt with a cloth soaked in diluted soapy water, wipe off the detergent with a well-wrung cloth, and then wipe thoroughly with a soft cloth.
