The scraps are art reliefs that utilize the imaginary rough scraps.
"Ekan Relief" is an art relief that decorates the wall like a part of the interior, created by collaborating with the scraps and technology from the cosine workshop and the idea of artist Shin Iga.
Not limited to woodworking, scraps and debris are effectively used in various fields such as cloth, glass, foodstuffs, and ceramics. They are collected, mixed and reborn into new materials. It is no longer a scrap, but a valuable material. In the form of art, we made use of short materials and small scraps that are less than enough to make furniture and living tools, which are inevitably produced in the process of making products at the cosine workshop.
A cylinder or a prism is cut diagonally, and the angle is changed regularly to attach it without any gaps, resulting in a single square art relief.
You can decorate it with two angles, a quadrangle and a rhombus, and you can decorate it with just one or a combination of multiple reliefs. It is also attractive that it shows various expressions depending on the sunlight and lighting.
Ekana Relief is made from two tree species, maple and walnut, which are the most commonly used column type and prism type in Cosine's workshop, and a total of four patterns are available for a limited number of 50 units each.
You can choose from each type of tree species according to the atmosphere and interior of the room. The lot number and Mr. Nobu Iga's signature are engraved on the back of all Ekana reliefs.

An oil based on natural vegetable oils that retains the texture of wood. Maintenance can be easily done by recoating with oil. Do not hang wet objects directly as it may cause stains. If it gets wet, wipe it off immediately. A well-wrung cloth can be wiped with water.
Since a film is formed on the surface of the wood, it is a coating that does not easily get scratched or dirty. For normal care, it is enough to wipe off the dust. If it is very dirty, use a cloth soaked in diluted soapy water to remove the dirt, wipe off the detergent with a well-wrung cloth, and then wipe it clean with a soft cloth.
